~ A Cup of Joe for a Joe...or a Jane ~

I love to support the troops in any way I can. They sacrifice so much for all of us.

Sending a cup of coffee is so simple. They can also choose an iced drink, hot cocoa or tea. This is a note I received today...Southlake is just a hop and a skip from where I live. Small world, huh?  ;-)

Your message and gift of a CUP OF JOE was delivered to a Service Member serving at Bagram South in Afghanistan. They wanted to say thanks and make sure you knew your gift was received. Please see below for their note to you:

Thank you so much Pat!! My family lives in Southlake Texas and all my extended relatives live all over the state:-) A treat from home! I really appreciate your kindness. It's a treat for us to get a cup of joe.

Check out the site Green Beans Coffee  and give if  you can!

The weather here is very warm...and humid!  While walking Forrester this morning, I noticed that the trees all have buds on them.  Hey, we're still in February!  Crazy Texas weather, that's for sure.

I had the temporary plugs put in my tear ducts on Monday. They are already helping so much! The method is amazing. I go back in 2 weeks for the permanent (6 months) plugs if all goes well with these.  I know it will!

Had breakfast with a friend this morning. Several of us meet each Wed morning, however, today it was just the 2 of us. Very enjoyable anyway!

In the process of updating this blog...we shall see how the final result is soon. I hope you're having a wonderful week!
