Sweet Lia with Santa
I'm not sure how many of you know Diann of The Thrifty Groove Blog. She's an incredible lady with the thrifty gene for sure! She and her husband, Troy, have cared for Lia since she was 7 weeks old...she's almost 5 now. Recently, the birth mother decided she wanted Lia back ~ no one really knows why. The birth father is going along with it too. Both are known child abusers and, among other illegal activities, should NEVER have been given Lia. The judge in this case removed Lia from Diann and Troy without notifying them or Lia first. Can you imagine the heartbreak of the parents and the bewilderment and fear of poor Lia? Absolutely unfathomable!
I urge you to read Diann's latest posts and please join in prayer for their family, for Lia to be protected and cared for and returned ASAP. If you are so inclined, a donation would be tremendously appreciated!
My mind cannot grasp this...and I pray that God will hold them in His hands and protect Lia from these people that call themselves her "mom and dad". IMHO, a "real" parent would NEVER do this to an innocent child. A real parent would want the child to be safe, loved, protected and in the best care possible. Diann and Troy are all she's ever known and now she's 1700 miles from them, with strangers and abusers. Absolutely heartbreaking ~
