I've missed joining Heidi for Wednesday Gratitude. I'm glad I'm home this week and remembered to join in! Years ago when Sarah appeared often on the Oprah show, she had just written the book "Simple Abundance". I LOVE the book and I always enjoyed her sharing on the show. She has such a kind countenance and a very loving presence. I cannot tell you how many times I've read the book...or just read certain passages. She suggested keeping a Gratitude Journal and listing a minimum of 5 things each day that you were grateful for. When I began my Gratitude journal I was still working and had very long and stressful days. Sarah's words would remind me to be grateful...and some nights I just listed the minium...my bed, the fact that I made it through the day, I had a safe commute to & from work, etc. As I practiced, my lists grew longer and my life changed. :-) I promise that happens!
